the aquatics building to be built for the 2008 beijing olympics. its walls are made up of steel frames construted like packed bubble in polyhedrals, and covered in clear teflon material. it actually uses less steel than traditional buildings would otherwise require, and absorbs 90% of solar energy to heat up the water in the pool.

digital dawn - the blind stores energy during the day from natural lighting. and at night, as the light dims, its foliages grows and glows!


walltherapy - customers paint the wallpaper by numbers and participate in a color experiement/study to find a set of colors that are suited for them.


history table - this tablecloth can sense how long an object has been placed on it

so some of these are more aesthetic than it is pratical, but they are still pretty darn innovative. their designs also include window fixtures that display changing floral designs based on the weather pattern outside, and beddings that softly glows to wake you up on the mornings in case the sun doesnt shine.
